The Paris Vignette Writers Collective

The Paris Vignette Writers Collective is a community of writers and readers, worldwide, who appreciate the artform of the vignette as practiced in The Paris Vignette literary journal. Members needn’t exclusively write vignettes, of course. In fact, we have members who are primarily interested in novels, short stories, memoir, essays or journalism but will occasionally try their hand at the type of short pieces published here.

There are 3 ways to become a member of the Collective

Payment of 50€ for a 2-year membership. Membership allows you to submit to TPV for paid publication and to attend TPV events at reduced or no cost. It also represents a form of support for TPV whether you consider yourself a writer or not.*

Participation in 5 or more Paris Vignettes Writing Workshops and/or Paris Vignette Events per year. Initial 1-year membership begins after your fifth participation. After that, membership is maintained without interruption provided participation on 5 occasions or more in each subsequent year.

Win a Paris Vignette Contest. Winning a Paris Vignette Contests confers membership status for 1 year from the date of the announcement that one has won. This is in addition to any monetary award that the contest may have.

*You needn’t be a writer to join the collective as we also welcome the support of non-writing readers in the hope that joining may well inspire those who don’t typically consider themselves to be writers to work on and possibly submit their work.
